My wife and I used to go to Creme de la Creme over the past year. Their breakfasts were very good. However, upon a recent visit to the restaurant we were treated very poorly. The staff was very rude to us, especially the tall woman that is the cashier. I think their success has gotten to their heads. We left the restaurant because of this incident and when I called back later to speak to the owner, the cashier (tall woman) answered and scolded me for calling back -- stating "I'm trying to run a business ... what do you want?". We are never going back there, no matter how good their food is / was.
Great Food, Hard Working Staff. Very Consistent.
GREAT FOOD but the restaurant is EXTREMELY DIRTY.(kitchen, bathrooms) infestation of cockroaches
It needs MAJOR Renovation and clean up.
Worst service ever experienced!! Feature it on: FoodNetwork's, "Mystery Diners". The waitress who served us was incredibly rude! I've had better service from a vending machine!! We were appalled by our waitress' miserable attitude. It ruined our entire dining experience. She never made eye contact when she spoke to us. Waited for over 20 minutes before taking our order. She never bothered to refill our coffee.
The over whipped cream on the waffles had an irregular consistency. It tasted like butter. Corned beef sandwich had a distinct thumb print indenting the toasted bread. Yum! I asked for the bread on our sandwich to be buttered and it wasn't.
The whole purpose of dining out has three components: #1. Courteous and friendly service, complying with your guests requests #2. Excellent food. #3. Enjoyable atmosphere
Creme de la Creme fails on all three. If you want good service, drive an extra 2km to the Dundas Street Grille. Service with a smile goes a l-o-n-g way!
